Ino Dunn is the Chinese Language School’s Principal and she is currently Teaching Level 6 義班. In this capacity, she is also a Board member. She has several years of teaching experience and she is currently teaching level 6 Yi bān. Mrs. Dunn is also an officer of the Parent Company of the Chinese Language School known as OCAFC. Mrs. Dunn has a B.S. of National Chung Hsing University and a M.S. of Computer Science from City College of New York. In addition, she is a Software Engineer, IT Professional.
Ms. Lo holds a B. A. in Chinese Language and Literature from National Taiwan University in Taiwan. She currently works as an independent Chinese language and culture instructor. This is her 7th year at CLSFC.
Ms. Lo creates curricula that incorporate her students’ real life situations, motivating students toward language learning with an emphasis on hands-on activities. She encourages students to practice conversational skills on a regular basis. Her mission as a teacher is to help students to become curious and passionate lifelong learners.
Throughout her life, she has always been involved with the field of education. From her tutoring years in high school and college to her postgraduate teaching experience, she has been greatly invested in fostering the education of others around her. Being a native Mandarin speaker and a versatile scientist with more than 60 scientific publications, she works on imparting students with the foundational sets of skills required to deepen their connection to Chinese culture and gain to perspective.
She got her B.S. and M.S. from National Taiwan University and Ph.D. from University of Maryland College Park.
Ms. Chen has over 20 years of experience in teaching Mandarin across the United States and China. In the classroom, her focus is on teaching interesting and vivid learning experience. She has experience in teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. She has strong experience in building long lasting relationship with students and parents throughout the years.
Since 2008 I have been teaching Mandarin at New York and Connecticut Chinese school.
Ms. Chen is very passionate about education and encouraging children to fall in love with the Chinese culture, traditions and language.
She hopes to expand the Chinese culture at the Chinese Language School of Fairfiel County and around the world.
Ms. Chen holds a Graduate degree in Education from Zhanjiang Normal University in China.
Kanglian Chen has been teaching in Chinese Language School of Fairfield County for 9 years. Currently, she is a teacher of Zhong ban. She graduated from Foshan College in China in 1995. After graduation, she worked at Yongning Elementary school for 15 years.
Ms. Chen received a Bachelor’s degree in education administration at China Central Radio & TV University in 2007. Ms. Chen also received a certificate of accreditation by International Chinese Teacher Certificate Authority in 2018.
